Three New Babies Arrive

We have three tiny baby Robins. The mother bird built a nest right at our back door in the planter. The first baby hatched Friday and by Saturday morning, we had two more. The girls were thrilled and have to check on them every morning. I'm afraid the last two eggs aren't going to hatch. It's been several days and the new birds are growing quickly. It's amazing to see God's work up close.

Baby Walker

Sweet baby Walker was born six weeks early on February 13, 2008. I had the opportunity to be in the delivery room when he was born. Walker's mommy, Ashley was in the delivery room when Avery was born. It's such a miracle! He was 5 lbs. 1 oz. at birth and he is now almost 10 lbs. He is a fighter for sure. The girls loved holding him and giving him kisses. We visited him in Virginia and they could eat him up. I do have to admit it did give me some "baby fever", but it was a quick reminder when he awoke at 2:30 am for a bottle. Yes, it brings back memories.

Easter Egg Hunt

We had a family Easter Egg Hunt with our girls and my nephews, Andrew and Will. A few of the eggs had dollar bills hidden in them and what a coincidence, each of the children found one of those. Along with a great deal of candy. Egg hunts were my favorite as a kid and now it's even more fun hiding the eggs and watching the kids find them.

Avery's 5th Birthday

Avery celebrated her 5th birthday with a pony party. She rode many laps around the yard on Honeydew and had a blast. We had several of her preschool friends over for cake and ice cream. I can't believe she is already five and she can't wait to start kindergarten.
